Some settings are setup to default to certain items

For Example when you clock in it will default to Admin
Employee will have to manual switch to "Travel, Work or Break"

When creating a New Lead/Project it will default to Client status

Origination and Destination will default as well

To change these settings
Click Owners tab
Click System settings

Click choose a setting to edit
Click System defaults


Find which setting you would like to change and click and you will see a drop down menu with different options.

If you don't want New Lead/Project to default to Client status- you can change it here by clicking drop down menu

Then you can change to any of the below

If you would like to change Origination and Destination default- click drop down menu

Then choose from below

Action Date Types-These are the types of action dates that can be added to CRM contacts. They are used to track important dates and deadlines for contacts.


Address Type-This list is used to describe this type of contact information as it relates to your staff, clients, vendors, and referral sources.


Company Role-This list is used to describe the role any given contact has within a company.


Company Type- This list is used to describe the type of company.


CRM Contact Status-These are used to describe this contact's current relationship status with your company. The intent here is that you can use these statuses to develop next steps for contacts in a specific status.


CRM Contact Type-When you add a contact to a project or as general contact within the CRM, you can specify what their role is for that specific project. For example, a contact who is a realtor for many of your clients, may also be the Power of Attorney for their mother that they are having you downsize and move.


Email Address Type-This list is used to describe this type of contact information as it relates to your staff, clients, vendors, and referral sources.


Estimate Defaults-These options determine the default estimate sign and print view options used for new estimates.


Follow/Task Type-Used as a part of the CRM, followups are scheduled events for clients, vendors, and referral sources. You can select what kind of information is needed to complete the follow up. For example a follow up of "Email Client Facing Brochure" would require that an email be provided to complete that follow up.


Performance Categories-This list is used to describe the performance categories that are used in your staff performance reviews.


Phone Number Type-This list is used to describe this type of contact information as it relates to your staff, clients, vendors, and referral sources


Shift Type- Used when scheduling shifts, these are classifications for shifts and work you will have your staff do to complete your projects. You can color code these and also select an icon to help further identify the shift type when viewing on compressed calendars.Think of these as the Agile Swim Lanes for projects.


Touch Type-These are the types of marketing and communication efforts made to a person or group. In general this is a great place to track all communications with your clients, vendors, and referral sources.
You can determine the quality of a touch for tracking marketing efforts and the level of quality your efforts are building.


Vehicles- This list is used to describe the vehicles that are used by your staff.
